I haven't ever seen a spot for thread subsciptions

I like to subscibe to threads and get instant email notification so I'm always on top of certain threads. Ideas?

Yes - log in and go to the thread you would like it get, at the bottom right there's a tab that is labeled "Notify".  Click it and you'll get notified.

Also - if you want to get notifications of your new threads automatically go to your profile, click on Notifications and Email and select "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.".  I also have "For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me of: "Replies and Moderations."
